Cop’s are known to be quick thinkers, and was proven to be true when a truck went up in flames in Glenn Heights, which could have caused a potential tragedy.

Police officer Chris Womack had been sent to the scene to deal with a Ford truck in flames at a Jack in the Box drive-thru, and when he arrived, he made a quick decision to drive his cruiser right up to the vehicle and pushed it away from the building.

According to Womack, a first year cop, his adrenaline kicked in, giving him the idea to do what he did. Luckily, the fire hadn’t spread to the restaurant, and because of that, no one was injured.

“My adrenaline was going a little bit. It was just a God-send that I was here at that particular time,” commented Womack.

The Glenn Heights Police Department shared the dash cam footage of the incident, which has people in awe of his braveness.

“I would like to commend Officer Chris Womack, due to his courage and quick thinking, he was able to prevent a burning vehicle from causing major damage to the Jack in the Box and protecting the employees,” wrote the department on Facebook.

Though the cause of the fire is unknown, our hero isn’t. Officer Womack did a brave thing to help the people, whether they know it or not. This truly could have ended badly for the people inside the restaurant, but because of Womack, no one was hurt.

We thank Officer Womack for his braveness and services! Did you think what he did was brave and just awesome? Then SHARE this post with your friends!Cop
