When Cayden Taipalus saw his friend had been refused a hot lunch because there was no money in his account, he became very upset. He couldn’t believe that they would refuse an elementary schooler a lunch! inspiring

So this third grader decided to take things into his own hands, and do something about the situation. When he got home later that day, he told his mother what had happened, and asked if there was anything he could do to make sure this never happens again. And they came up with an idea, that goes by the name, “Pay It Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry.”

They created the fundraising site to raise money to pay off the debts of all of his friends. And while the site kick-started, he went around and collected recycling to return, and to earn a little bit more cash for his little project.

And that isn’t even the extraordinary part. Since the start of the program, it has raised $7000 to purchase lunches for over 30 children. Cayden just wants no kid to ever be denied a hot meal again, and we couldn’t agree with him more!

Cayden’s mother is so proud of her son and his accomplishments, and we love his kind heart! If this story touched your heart in some way, SHARE this post!
