When this 67 year old woman went on a drive with her dog, she had no idea what was actually going to happen. When she was driving on a winding highway, she ended up driving into several trees off of the road, and then crashed into the creek.
The woman and her dog were trapped, and were stuck in their car with no way out. They waited for help to arrive, but it never did.
The two waited in the back seat of the car for hours and hours, and spent the night in the backseat, worrying whether the water would sweep the car away.
As they waited, the woman wasn’t sure what was going to happen to her, and if this was how she would die. Which would be a common response for anyone in that situation.
The woman and dog ended up spending 8 hours trapped in the car, until finally someone noticed the car in the creek, with them trapped and helpless. The passerby then quickly dialed 911, and the police arrived on the scene to rescue them.
Luckily, they were rescued by 2 firefighters who put on wetsuits, and carried them out of the car. The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries only to her shoulder, and was able to walk out of the accident alive and well. The dog was perfectly okay and healthy, and no harm was done.
